Surviving 30 Years in a Mad World
The corporate world promises success but often leaves us feeling empty and disconnected. We chase titles, money, and approval. As aspiring entrepreneurs we try and fail many times to create businesses. Meanwhile, we lose touch with passion, purpose, and inner peace. Over time, burnout replaces motivation. However, a quiet voice within begins to rise. It questions the routine and craves something real. As a result, we start to seek freedom, authenticity, and meaning. This is the turning point. It took us 30 years to know it’s time to break the mold, reclaim our time, and follow what truly matters. It was in 2019, at Penguin Place in Bettys Bay, where our new journey had an auspicious start, surrounded by the ocean and majestic mountains…and at night, the Southern Cross in the sky.
Fountain of Rediscovery & Transformation
The journey of transformation is daunting and often uncomfortable. It demands that we strip away everything that isn’t truly us. Then comes the rebuilding—a life aligned with our highest values and deepest truths. Add a global pandemic, and the challenge intensifies. Suddenly, it’s no longer optional; it’s a call to action we can’t ignore. It’s do or die. Every step and action becomes a thread in a new tapestry—woven with intention, resilience, and hope. This was our path toward self-sustainability and a more conscious way of living. A path that included learning new skills congruent to our highest values and turning these into thriving businesses over time. And so, Identiti and Reiki Partners took shape as Partnerships during 2020 and 2021.
Leaving the Comfort Zone
Our call to action to serve in Limpopo Province became unmistakably clear during our Reiki Outreach in 2021. Inspired by the deep need and heartfelt connections we encountered, we knew it was time to take the next step. In March 2022, we lovingly said farewell to Betty’s Bay and moved north to establish the Haenertsburg Centre for Reiki. Rooted in the serene beauty of the Magoebaskloof region, our new space was created to support healing, growth, and community. We are deeply grateful for the incredible support from our clients in Polokwane, Tzaneen, and Haenertsburg—your trust continues to inspire our expansion and success.

Back to Eden in 2024
In January 2024, Mother Ocean called us home to Wilderness, along the breathtaking Garden Route—a place that instantly felt like our forever sanctuary and the natural next chapter for our work. Guided by intuition and a deep connection to the land and sea, we answered that call with open hearts. In return, we were met with unexpected blessings: exciting business growth, new opportunities, and a sense of expansion beyond anything we had imagined. This move not only anchored us more deeply in purpose but also aligned us with a vibrant, supportive community that continues to grow.
Restucturing for Growth
By the final quarter of 2024, it became clear that our rapid growth required a stronger, more structured foundation. To support this exciting evolution, we officially incorporated Southern Cross Legacies (Pty) Ltd on 15 October 2024. This strategic move allowed us to consolidate and streamline our operations, with Reiki Partners and Identiti now operating as distinct yet aligned divisions under one unified company. Southern Cross Legacies not only reflects our expanding vision, but also honours the legacy we are building—rooted in purpose, collaboration, and conscious entrepreneurship.
